The New York Rangers are off and running to a 2-0-1 start to the 2024-2025 season. They finish the home-and-home with Detroit tonight after a fun 4-1 win on Monday night. Monday’s win was good, but the Rangers were sloppy in the second period. As long as they play like they did in the first and third periods, this should be another strong win as they continue to improve upon their 5v5 play.

There are no lineup changes tonight, save for Jonathan Quick and Cam Talbot in net for their respective teams. Detroit is still capable of outscoring most opponents, so tightening up defensively and controlling the play will be the key to success for the Rangers.
