New York State Forest Rangers were busy in the Adirondacks from July 9th through the 14th, making several water rescues, recovering the body of a Hudson River paddler, and launching several rescue missions for lost or injured hikers, including one that lasted the entire night. What follows is a report provided by DEC.
On July 9, at 6 p.m., Forest Ranger Milano responded to a call for a 14-year-old hiker from Massachusetts suffering from heat exhaustion at OK Slip Falls in Indian Lake, Hamilton County.
